The Civic Association of Great Neck Estates is an independent not for profit volunteer-driven organization focused on improving community life and addressing neighborhood issues, operating outside of the local government. Civic associations primarily aim to raise awareness, advocate for improvements, and facilitate community engagement.
The Civic Association co-sponsors with the Village of Great Neck Estates two yearly carnivals (Memorial and Labor Day) for residents to meet and enjoy a day in the park. The association also holds an appreciation dinner for the employees of the village at the end of the year.
